Q: QuestionIs this at least 24 AWG cabling? I need a definite answer if anyone has it, not a maybe/probably, because I need to run it to a PoE device and don't want to lose voltage or have overheating wires.

• A:Answer There is absolutely zero indication on what AWG they are. These are low quality cables. They can handle high speeds according to the label but if you’re setting up a system with WAPs and POEs, this is not the cable for you. Go with Audioquest.

Q: QuestionThe Best Buy cat six insignia gray wire is NOT shielded I don’t know why because it is a cat six wire and it should be but I cut my wire open and comfirmed this !

• A:Answer will only need shielding when your cable is running through an area of high electro-magnetic interference or radio frequency interference if that is ur issue then yes u need a shielded cable and this would not be the cable for u

• A:Answer The internet cable meets Category 6 specifications, and is shielded from nearby electromagnetic interference. I have run the cable within a two inches of 20 Amp 110 Volt 60 Hz Single Phase AC Romex wire without signal interference issues. But, this cable is only rated for indoor use. It has no UV rating.
