• A CAT 6 will work just fine, just try to keep off of the ground if you can. If not then I would bury it in tubing just to keep it safe...

• As you move up the CAT scale you increase all areas of efficiency. As we are increasing data streams so rapidly, I would recommend CAT 7. CAT 7 is shielded and is designed for additional distance. If you are not budget limited, go with the CAT 7.
