“Why is this cat 6 if insignia is saying its only good for 1Gbps speed? Isn't cat 6 supposed to handle 10Gbps up to 180 feet long?? What am I missing here? I have 2 Gig fiber internet and im thinking about 5 Gig.”

The packaging the cable came in and my testing showed it was capable of 10Gbps as long as your equipment can use 10Gbps. There's a lot of consumer devices out there that still only have 1 Gbps network controllers, or even worse 100 Mbps such as the Roku Ultra
