“when opening door, does the unit stay put or want to move? I've seen some that even want to tip forward. Saying that, is there by any chance it comes with securing brackets for back feet, similar to that of a stove/range?”

I've had mine 6 months. I've had it full and nearly empty. I've had no tipping problems.
