Check the website every day and be ready to buy it immediately. After 8 weeks of doing this, I was able to get two. I too waited over a year for them to be available, but then I wasn't checking every day. Once I started checking every day, the first one took 6 weeks and the second one took 2 weeks for them to become available. They go quickly!!

I went into Best Buy and the clerk said she had no idea either because they are often times able to see more about availability than we can, but on this one, there was absolutely no information. On the advice of another customer, I checked the website every day for 6 weeks and surprisingly there was an availability on a random Thursday afternoon. I scooped one up quickly, and by the time I finished my online purchase, there were no more available again. There was a "one per order" limit, but if you opened a business account you could get more....but then I would have had to use a credit card other than Best Buy and wouldn't be able to take advantage of the interest-free financing. I had the one delivered a few weeks ago and went back to checking every day for another one. I scored again last week, and they were unavailable after a few days again. So, the point is, if you want it, keep checking back and be ready to purchase as soon as it comes available.
