Why does this go off on its own? null

I had a Vizio sound bar that did the exact same thing. If no sound goes through the sound bar after a period of time, it shuts down. Computers do the same thing. Not a big deal. I guess the idea is to prolong the life of the sound bar.

If the soundbar does not detect an audio signal, it will automatically turn off.

Does anyone know if this can be suppressed? I have my tv/firestick/soundbar on a universal remote. When I pause the firestick, it turns off the soundbar, and then the power button is no longer synced.
