It's unlikely just putting a computer's hard drive into this box will solve your problem. Data retrieval is at best a tricky business. You might get away with doing this by designating your old drive as a secondary drive, and using a functioning computer to access it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It works with any SATA type drive. Can be Hard disk drive and SSD drive. If your PC is dead then assume it won't turn on. But if you salvage it's hard drive (and the drive still works). You can use this to copy files to new drive.
