I would say ur drive is dead. If u can, try to plug it directly into a PC data cable to see if it gets power then. Or an old Xbox 360 data transfer cable works if u have one of those. Seeing as how it gets power when u unplug ur drive I would say it def is ur drive tho.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It maybe the drive. However, verify that you are plugged into a USB 3.0 or hirer. The plug may not be producing a 3.0 signal. good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry; I wasn’t quite clear on your troubleshooting. Have you plugged the cable into the computer w/o the drive attached? If that kills the power you know it’s the cord. If that works fine, then most likely it’s either a bent pin on the drive connector, or a short on the drive circuit board itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like a bad drive not a bad enclosure
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may be connecting to a USB connector which doesn't supply power, or the power demands of the drive may exceed the power ability of that connector
