QuestionI plan using this with an inverter on my boat, when not hooked up to shore power, but I understand it draws more wattage on start up. I have a new 115v, 300W pure sine inverter. Will that be sufficient, or do I need higher wattage. What is the minimum?

- Answer I had a 500 watt Bestek inverter. It did not work, found out that inverter has no surge and shuts down anything over 500 watts. Looking for a compatible inverter now... maybe a 700 watt.

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, it is advised not to expose your refrigerator to rain, moisture, dripping, or splashing, and objects filled with liquids should be placed on top of it.
