• An antenna feeds signal through a (coax) wire. Without that, yes, the TV can find a WiFi signal and stream from the internet.

• As far as watching TV and using apps…yes it is wireless! I have a blu-ray player and sound bar wired to the tv all outside in my cigar smoking bungalow.
