• Hi Bunt, If you have a cable box for the TV you can connect on the HDMI output at the back of the TV. Then, plug the cable box into the wall socket. Renee, Insignia Support

• just plug from the cable box to the tv. you will need to setup the cable's remote to the tv and you may need adjust the cable tv box for the correct resolution.
