Useless answer, Customer Support. When the Internet is down, it doesn't matter how you connect to the router. And where, pray tell, are the configuration settings to disable the not-so-smart smart features? Those settings aren't in Settings. You basically ignored the original question.

Here are some steps you can take to address this issue: 1. Disable Smart Features: Temporarily disable unnecessary smart features like the channel guide or streaming apps while watching local channels. This can free up resources and improve performance. 2. Adjust Network Settings: If you're connected to Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired connection using an Ethernet cable. This can provide a more stable and reliable connection, especially during storms. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, please contact our Insignia customer service team (877-467-4289) for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting tips or suggest a solution tailored to your specific situation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. - Mae | Insignia Support | https://www.bestbuy.com/site/brands/best-buy-brands/pcmcat1596746025285.c?id=pcmcat1596746025285
