You have to create a free account with Roku and then you can browse Roku channels and add them. Many channels are free. Some content like Netflix, Hulu or HBO would require a separate subscription with those individual companies. If you are wanting to get a "Smart TV" I highly recommend a Ruko enabled TV over standard Smart TV. You will have a better experience and access to more content.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You do not need a paid subscription. It does however have other apps and channels that if you choose you may pay for it. Set up is a bit confusing, just make sure items that you do not want to pay for are unmarked.
