You can hook up an external streaming device into one of the HDMI inputs on the TV.
A:AnswerI just checked my tv to confirm. There are no controls on the tv. You must use the remote control. I purchased this tv to use when I am camping. It is terrific. Very clear picture and super light. I bought a digital antenna to get local channels.
A:AnswerYes!, it has 2 HDMI inputs on back (maybe more, I didn't look) . For a bluray, just go into the player's settings and set it for 720P. Same for my Xbox. I also hook it up to my PC at times.
