Who manufactures this and from where? null

Inside it says Designed by FU. No joke. Also I can only imagine this is built in China. This unit is clearly a first edition. But they did a good job and I'm impressed with the pump and controls are very advanced

Insignia, says it’s trademarked by Best Buy and made in China. Must be their house brand, didn’t know this but it’s on the manual. It looks as good as a $900 Bosch for almost half the price.

This is a Samsung dishwasher with a Insignia badge. I compared to a similar dishwasher by Samsung at a Home Depot that was $250 more. The exterior insulation, pump, motor and other appurtenances are the same. Even the dish detergent dispenser (better than other brands, sturdy construction.) The front with recessed handle are the same. Controls are similar, one less setting I noticed. The baskets/tray are not the same however. Hey, I bought the Insignia with 5 year warranty and was still less than other big box Samsung offerings...what a deal!
