With good quality cable, you can run 95-100 meters with gigabit Ethernet. (328 ft) Over this length you will need a switch or repeater to run farther. This is why most wiring closets designed to cover this distance are located on end or center of building floors. Backhaul farther than this and you are probably looking at fiber links of 10gbit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sure if you look hard enough you can find one. If you just get a 100ft cable, a 50ft cable and a coupler it will cover your distance and probably save you money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are certainly longer cables made. Don't know if Best Buy sells any. You also may be able to just use a female/female connector to join two shorter cables together. This may be cheaper assuming there is no issue with shielding, noise, or cable run if you have to pull it through confined space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.100' is the longest network cable that we make, but we do manufacture a couple that would allow you to connect another cable to the 100' one. The model number for the coupler is NS-PNWIC50. You can search that model number on Best Buy's website if you are interested.
