Q: what is the difference between Cat-5e and Cat-6 cables

A: the difference is speed. cat 5e has a max speed of 1 gigabit and cat 6 has a max speed of 10 gigabit. cat 6 only has that speed for up to about 160' over that and its only as fast as cat 5e

Q: What Ethernet cable does Spectrum use for their modem?

A: This cable works for any Ethernet source. I have had both spectrum and att and it works either way

Q: Will thesis cable work when connecting a work station to a network server hub?

A: Yes it will, provided both the workstation and network server hub both have standard RJ45 ports.

Q: Does this cable have an RJ11 connector or an RJ45 connector?

A: RJ45.. any network cable you purchase will have a RJ45 plug. RJ11 was used for 2 or 4 wire phone cables.
