“Has anyone been successful with installing this in a tall horizontal sliding window? My window slides open only 4 inches and is about 56 inches tall. Also can it be placed up against the wall between the bed like this spot here? It's my only option”

The window installation kit fits horizontal and vertical sliding windows only 19.4'' ~ 62.2'' (49.3 ~ 158.1cm).
