The width of the window panels is 6.4 inches (164 mm).

I measured mine. It came with the 19" main exhaust panel and three additional extension panels that slide to meet the window length. Their sizes are 10-1/2 inches, 18-1/2 inches, and 19 inches. There is additional hardware to keep them together. When I read the manual, it stated that the pieces can be cut down if needed. Since I did not need to do this, I am not sure if this is easy or if it will break it. The manual does also give instructions for installing the panels vertically.

if they slide left to right, then you're fine. i have the same one. unless you have a super small window, like a tiny one
