Is this unit made to run 24/7? null

Yes, you can set the temperature to the lowest setting and keep the unit running.

Mine did until it finally got the room down to the temp I set it to. We’ve since gotten our central air fixed but leave this unit in the master bedroom and it works great.

We leave ours plugged in and on all the time. It has an automatic shut off when the desired temp is reached just like a larger one would do.

Yes, it can. The water tank fills up very slowly. Maybe once a month needs to be emptied. It’s also d dehumidifier as well, so if you have a hose you can have it drain 24/7.
