“When on cool the PI comes on every hour and I have to drain the bottom. I tried using the hose connected to the upper drain but there appears to be no drainage from the upper. Please advise what to do as draining from the bottom every hour is not an optio”

My upper drain had a cover spun on and a plug within it - did you remove both before sliding the hose around the outside of the drain nozzle? I would drain the bottom again and plug it, slide the hose over the upper nozzle and place in a bucket or tray. Make sure the hose does not go up from the level it is attached to the nozzle. Turn the unit on and let it run until you start to see water come out or the P1 occurs again. You may also need to squeeze the hose out a bit around the kink it gets during transport to ensure the water can flow through that section.
