Hello. The vent hose probably can be expanded to about 6', the window kit has about 4 pieces [(1 for venting - about 6-9") and three additional slats (1 - about 6-9" and 2 that are about 20")]. I used it to accomodate a vertical window requiring 57". The one thing i would recommend is to purchase screws equal in size to the ones provided in the window to be used as a window security bracket. I used them to hold the slats in place...the plastic pieces kept slipping out and eniugh werent provided to achieve the vertical length needed. The power cord is about 4-5' in length.
