A:AnswerRegretfully they are plastic. I am having difficulty "snapping" them in, so they are just sitting on the top of the fridge itself. Mine is not on "display" for others, and it's easier to use the side to open it up. They do not screw in place, just a slide and snap type deal.

A:AnswerI’m not sure if that sort of thing is under a warranty so I don’t know if it would be free, but If you contact Insignia about it they might have replacement handle's? I haven’t had to do this but that’s what I would try and do.
A:AnswerPlace your refrigerator on a floor that’s strong enough to support your refrigerator when it is fully loaded.

A:AnswerI think I read it was 1.4 watts! However I have only solar in my home! At present two panels making(250w,& 295w,) I have had to unplug to let the batteries charge all day then plug in a night and the fridge catches up! Most of the time it is sunny and we run around 12.3volts! I say yes to your question! I have 4 marine batt. hooked up to output 12 volts! Hope this helps, Sincerely, David
A:AnswerHi there! kindly look for handles on the open market, you can go to specialized stores online like Best Buy or Amazon.
