Is this the aux cord you use for the Samsung s8? null

I have an Samsung Note8 and it works fine for me.

I use this to connect my Samsung S8+ to a Sony speaker when listening to music The cord works for that purpose. I don't see any other purpose than audio out of the phone to an external speaker.

The 3.5 mini audio connection will work for audio out on the S8. You need to make sure your speaker or other device you are connecting to has the same 3.5mm audio input jack as well though. Most Bluetooth speakers use this connection as well as headphones.
