This is a guess, but here goes. You say the Mac has only a headphone, output port. The BT device would work via the USB port, or you could also use a UsB hub to add extra devices. All of this depends on if your chosen mike is BT and can be connected via the Mac in settings. Research your Mac to see if BT can be recognized via UsB dongles
