“Why do I have to drain mine every 6-8 hours? That is ridiculous and a pain to drain”

Do you have the dehumidifier setting turned on? Is it very humid where you are? I have used mine about 12x - 8 hrs each time - and have yet to have to empty anything. I run it on auto only.
