“This air conditioner randomly shuts off snd starts beeping. I have to unplug it and plug it back in otherwise the beeping won't stop. Super annoying!”

It sounds like possibly the circuit breaker is tripping at the plug. Make sure you have it connected to a good outlet that is not shared with any other devices. It could also be caused by brownouts where the power drops lower enough to trip the breaker on the unit as these pull alot of wattage from the outlet.
