Hi Insignia Customer! Thank you for inquiring about our Insignia™ - 300 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner. There are two drain holes at the back of this unit where you can attach a 3/4 in. hose (not included). The upper drain is for the Dry mode in which the unit acts as a dehumidifier. The lower drain is connected to the drain tray for normal use of the AC. The unit beeps 8 times when the drain tray is full. It also displays P1 and the AC will stop. Once drained, it should be back to normal. I hope this helps.
