“Why does this AC keep changing from COOL mode to FAN mode within five minutes of me turning it on every time?? BTW Fan mode smells terrible, this is infuriating that I can't keep the AC on cool.”

It sounds like the reservoir is full and needs to be drained. If youve already drained it then im not sure, but mine doesnt stay on cool when its full.
