“I live in Denver CO so not a lot of humidity at all. I just started using my AC last night and after only 5-6 hours of use it has the P1 error, walking me up out of a sounds sleep. Am I doing something wrong that I have it go off so soon?”

When the drain tray is full, your air conditioner beeps eight times, P1 appears on the control panel display, and your air conditioner stops. Carefully move your air conditioner to a drain location, then remove the bottom drain plug and let the water drain away.
