• It would’ve been helpful if the answer came sooner. I plugged the unit in as soon as it was connected. It seems to be operating alright, but we’ll see.

• Laying it down to transport is fine. But you have to let it stand upright for at least an hour or 2 before plugging it in and running it. Letting it stand upright allows the coolant fluid to drain back into the reservoir. If you plug it in right away you can cause damage to the unit.
