“Can this unit be plugged into an inverter box? I drive a truck similar to a UPS truck and the heat makes our trucks feel like an oven. I'm looking for something to cool the cab of the truck down.”

• You would need a pretty large inverter I would think. Portable A/C units can pull 1500 watts or more at the plug when the compressor kicks on.
