“I bought this for my 84 year old mother in law. She's REALLY hard of hearing. The main reason I got this is so we could pair it with her Alexa Dot, so Alexa's responses could be closed captioned on the FIRE TV. HELP”

This TV does not have a feature to close caption an Echo device. Instead of an Echo Dot, try to use an Echo Show; it's an Echo device that has a built-in screen. David M. - Insignia Support
