“I just bought this TV and alone the picture quality is amazing. When I connect it to my Macbook Pro via an HDMI cord to use as a second screen, the image quality is horrible. How can I fix this?”

Adjust the screen resolution on your Mac to match the TV resolution. Also try this, press and hold for 3 seconds the Home button to launch the Quick Access Menu, select Picture to adjust the picture settings. Select picture mode PC and Motion Processing Off. David M. - Insignia Support
