• To prevent burn in (image retention) avoid keeping a static picture on.

• This is a LED (Light Emitting Diode) unit and with any LED product, color and brightness may dim but, only after many years of constant use.. I hope this answers your question but, if not, you may have to add additional concerns or, comments.
