“Cable tv viewing through hdmi wont work on new TV once plugged in out of box brand new. Says no signal, why?”

• I plugged my cable in to hdmi1. When I turn my tv on I have to change my input to hdmi1. Then I get all my cable channels using my cable remote. If anyone has a better way please let me know.
