• this tv is a great value if you have Amazon prime, easy to use & hook up. Picture is good too. You will need internet & wifi for Amazon & if you have directv or dish or cable you'll need an HDMI cord.

• No, no DVD player. But it is a smart TV, internet ready or cable, or antenna. Mine is in the bedroom with directv & Amazon hooked up. works great so far.
