Purchased this tv for my elderly aunt for Christmas. She isn't very good with technology. Is there a way to get the tv to default onto HDMI 1 channel when turned on instead of going to the home page? Trying to make it as simple for her as possible. null

Teach your Aunt to use " the BUILT in "ALEXA' voice control in the tv REMOTE on the Toshiba Television Remote press and Hold the Microphone Button and speak into the Remote and say Alexa HDMI1 ( Microphone button is right above the little house on the toshiba remote)

The only way to avoid any of the “fancy” and confusing stuff is to get a 720 that’s NOT smart. Otherwise it will be a nightmare for anyone who’s not a little tech savvy, and it might even require using two remotes.
