“I need Closed Captions for TV watching. I can not find a designation to turn on or off. It is available for Netflix but not regular TV watching. This is imperative or I am returning TV. Can I turn TV on and not have to make 2nd HDMI selection?”

This TV supports Closed Captions (when available). While watching Live TV from antenna press the menu button ( ≡ ) and select Captions and Audio. To adjust the Closed Caption settings, go to: Settings > Accessibility > Closed Caption.
