A:AnswerYou need the Fire Tv app for iPhone then you can use your iPhone as a remote. To view TV on your iPhone you need the Fire TV Recast (DVR for Fire TV) and then you can view live and recorded TV on your iPhone or any other Fire TV or Fire TV stick.

A:AnswerQuestion? You can't get any local tv stations or you can't get any cable channels?
If you have pay cable, you should be able to get local tv through your cable connection.
You may have to put tv through a channel set up that is usually in a set up menu.
I don't think you can just connect tv to box and start getting channels. It has been my experience
with any new tv, whether connected to cable or antennae, that you will probably have to run a channel set up from the menu.
I went from cable to antennae and had to run channel set up from the menu before I received any picture.
Hope that helps,
Elico
A:AnswerNo no no… RAM (Random Access Memory) = speed when OS/apps are open in the TV even with external devices. I need SPEED and not STORAGE or another device. I know I can take out the RAM and replace it with a bigger one (more Gigabytes [GB] in RAM). What I’m asking is: where can I find the EXACT type of RAM for my Insignia TV Fire Edition?
