“Where is the port for the power cord located on this TV? I'm looking for something that has vertical cord placement for both and HDMI port (which this appears to have) and the power cord.”

The power cord is permanently attached in the rear of the TV so that the cord hangs straight down from the TV. Both HDMI ports, as well as two other connection ports, are on the back of the set, but each allows for connecting so as to not interfere with a flush mount to the wall (if that's your intent.
