This TV has a matte screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The screen appears to be matte to me. It certainly isn't a glass-like shiny surface. The frame is shiny black plastic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It appears the screen has a semi-matte coating to reduce glare, it's not like a computer monitor with full anti-glare matte coating. But my biggest issue is Bestbuy service and who knows support. Their promise of price guarantee/ price adjustment is a promise gimmick, and they'll give you the biggest hassle to fulfil this gimmick- looking for any way to back out of this promise. I check the online receipt to see the promise- shows the price match but now said you can't return the item. So, beware of BestBuy service and support during/after your purchase, here is my experience during my purchase. I order this TV online; it was on sale and website site said no stock available for local pickup, but we will get it there from another local store with-in a week. OK, check the status of order after a couple of days and it was still processing, in the meantime the website said the TV was in stock and available for the local pickup now! but at the regular price- Hmm? Contacted online customer service which they said to call customer service by phone- they said just order/pick up the new TV and then go to the store for price adjustment. OK, sound reasonable. Went to the store and waited directly at the customer service counter, a cashier approach me and said I can help you with your pickup and price adjustment at cashier counter. Cashier was totally clueless on the price adjustment and cashier manager (I assumed?) double clueless. After seemly endless cluelessness of nonsense -why can't we cancel the previous order and price adjust for the TV in stock (over 10 available in store), nope just additional multiple cluelessness of nonsense. Another person in blue jean/t-shirt (no idea who) showed up, they said ok we will cancel your previous order and price adjust for the same TV's in stock.
