“The specs say 35 pints/day moisture removal capacity. Is that the New rating standards of 20, 30, 50 or the old rating standards of 30, 50, 70 pints/day? I ask because it makes a difference when making a purchase as to what size I need.”

It matters how humid the environment is ,I use in a bedroom and unit has about a gallon to two in 4 hrs. If you hook up a hose this unit will pull a ton of water,needs to be emptied 2x a day,but have never run till It shut off on its own.
