I have DirecTV. I can use my remote to turn the TV on and off but haven't figured out if I can make it stay on the last video input. I have to use the TV's remote to put it on the HDMI to get it on the DirecTV channels. I would love for someone to direct us on this task.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but not the best interface. I have Insignia NS-39DF510NA19 model. Using TV remote: From Home, go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On > click big round button > select Last Input from Home and Last Input options > press Return (back arrow). This assumes you
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought this tv and have been annoyed by the power-on input issue. One user states that there is a setting to select Home or Last Input. That is not totally correct. You can select "Recent Row" or "Homescreen"... The "Recent Row" takes the tv to a screen that shows the last inputs you used rather than the Homescreen. You still have to move the cursor a couple of times and hit the select button. It saves a few clicks but it's not a true setting to make it start on an input. I am NOT a fan of this. Every other modern smart tv that I've owned could start directly on a video unput, ie start up in "tv" mode. I don't like having to make multiple choices every time I turn it on as the vast majority of the time we're turning it to the same input...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a setting (under display) that you can set to go to last input or home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Go to Display Settings, Scroll Down to Power On, and change it to Last Input
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no. I can use my Spectrum remote to turn TV on and off. But that is all it does. Even with the Insignia remote, when it comes on it always goes to the Home page to select which input you want. My Samsung and LG sets all open with the last input used. Since we primarily watch cable, this is a pain.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Update. The Spectrum remote will do more than just turn TV on/off, but what and how? Spectrum remote right arrow enlarges most recent input on Home screen. Can also navigate to input or settings screens with arrows keys on Spectrum remote. Up arrow advances to next input & down goes back to previous. But will not let select the enlarged input-tried all the buttons.
