It's only a 100Mb Ethernet and not Gigabit, but that wouldn't matter for streaming 4K let alone HD, since Netflix requires 25Mb Internet for 4K. It could potentially come in to play if streaming your own content inside the house via your own Plex (or similar) server, but it would have to be a very high bitrate 4K movie. I actually did some speed tests with my Channels DVR app (DVR is connected via a Gigabit Ethernet connection), and the only thing that the TV's Ethernet had over it's 5GHz wireless connection was better latency and jitter, which shouldn't really come into play with playing back video.
