I was able to put the mini fridge in the passenger seat of a Honda accord. Of course it was at a slight angle. I drove about 50 miles with it in the car, unloaded it out the car and stood it upright. I waited 4/5 hours until I plugged it in. It works great, I didn't have any issues. Hope that helps you out a will.
