- Answer If you want it to stand upright then the bottom shelf will be a bit small, but still manageable. I keep my gallon of milk lying down across the bottom shelf and it allows for more room for other items.

QuestionI have just purchased it and it has a cabinet tabletop on the top. Can you place anything on top of this? I was wondering if I could put my microwave on top of the fridge in this spot.

- Answer Yes. We have our microwave on top of it at the moment. If you plan to use it there long term, I would recommend you put a placemat or something to keep it in place. It tends to slide around a bit.
