“Directions say not to use if outlet is more than 30 ft. from panel. Why is this, and can it still be used if you exceed 30 ft. Someone else asked this question, but didn’t really get an answer. Thanks”

30 ft. Is a long cord. 30 ft. cords are usually use for power tools and are very heavy duty. The longer the cord the more resistance causing heat in the wire. Simply put the electricity needs to flow freely or the wire will be like a toaster wire.
