You would have to ask somebody in a Best Buy store or call a store and ask if this cable would work for Nexus 5. If they say it will, it is an excellent cord to have and as I have said in my review not overly priced!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The port on my cord is used for a galaxy 8 ( A tad bit larger than the standard android port). It seems(from web images) that my port my port will fit the Nexus 5x. I'm not sure if the ports are the same on the Nexus 5 and 5x but if so it will work. The USB port is a standard port. If your Honda CRV has a standard port and the Nexus 5 and 5x's ports are the same, then it should work. Hopes this helps.
