• After a minute or so it will default to the last setting used. You need not respond.

• I've not had that issue w/any of the sets I've used an audio out (whether optical or RCA) connected to a receiver or int. amp. Interesting! I'd contact the TV manufacturer for assistance or read the owners manual. Should not be this way, IMO. Good Luck!
